Located on the waterfront of Vigie Marina, where the trade winds go through all year round and keep the open dining room breezy and cool. In 1948 a huge fire, with a rage a verger, ravage through the heart of Castries. The Alcee family found refuge in the historical Vigie carnage where one appear a time the fleet of Admiral Rodney were refitted after battle. A young 18 year old American boy “Bob Elliot” set sail from Spain and became in 1958 the world’s youngest man to sail across the Atlantic single handedly. In the 1966 Bob and his wife built the Coal Pot Restaurant on his stepfather land. The Coal Pot has been a family business from then and has been protected by a very large canon found in the bottom of the marina and now located on the outside patio.
